The committee with help with the community work together to prepare br. Nour’s speech.

In this event, br. Nour read a short passage from Dr. King’s speech called “Beyond Vietnam: A Time to Break Silence” in Arabic. In this speech, Dr. King encourage us to embrace our differences and love all humankind. After reading the passage, Br. Nour recited surah Al-Hujurat verse 13: “O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.”  After this recitation, Br. Nour remind people that only by getting to know one another we can achieve peace in our community.
